My ducted air conditioning system died 2 weeks before Xmas. After ringing a few companies to see if we could get a new insulation installed before Xmas there were none that could fit us in. I was recommended to call CrispAir who might be able to help. Matt was over the next day, reviewed the old system and we had a quote that afternoon and an installation date before Xmas.
The installation took 2 days and the team led by Oscar were very clean and thorough. On completion they managed to save Xmas for my family and keep everyone cool. I can’t thank Dee and his team enough for the professionalism and commitment to fit us in during a very busy period. Cannot recommend this company enough. From the quote to the installation of my reverse cycle ducted air conditioning, their service was exceptional. Communication and efficiency met all expectations as a customer. The whole installation team was clean, tidy, on time and respectful of the space they were working in. A special mention to Chris the refrigeration engineer for his knowledge and outstanding service and Luke for organising this installation and going above and beyond for me to get this installed quickly in the middle of summer. If I could give more starts I would.

From Luke’s advice and Sebastian with his team of capable installers, who did a professional job, in a delicate heritage home, with ornate ceilings. Sebastian also advised me that the ceiling in the room where he installed the aircon was sagging and some of the straps holding it up were no longer there. He has saved me from a problem I didn’t know I had and would have become dangerous without repairing it.

Our experience with the CrispAir team was fantastic start to finish - they were willing to work with a tricky installation and provided us with several quotes to help us decide an optimal solution. The install was quick and efficient and we’re satisfied the Daikin products recommended are best on the market. Very happy!

We have had our fully ducted system in for just over a year now with no issues whatsoever. We replaced our old Evaporative System which had a habit of dying every Christmas three years running. Since our new Daikin system was installed just before Christmas 2024 we have been enjoying the greatest comfort, even on the hottest days. Today was our first service and the Technican (Matt) was great. He provided some advice on how to better balance the vents, did a thorough job with the service, was prompt and very courteous. Every aspect of our experience with CrispAir, from the initial inquiries through to today’s service and checkup has been first class. Best decision we ever made.

To be clear, Crispair were brilliant in the first half of the service. They came out, were clear, gave a fair price, and were great to communicate and work with.

Originally, I game them a poor review, however, as they were not proactive in helping us find a satisfactory outcome for an ongoing issue that has been there since installation (details are lower).

Despite a long wait, they have helped us to a successful resolution and for this we are thankful.

UPDATE Aug 2025: They have replaced the contoller with no charge to us whatsoever. I am happy to recommend them as a company to be engaged; despite some issues, they worked continually towards a strong result for the customer.

Details for issue that has now been fixed:

Basically, the air conditioner controller has struggled to function properly from the get-go. It freezes, glitches, and sometimes just dies. We have now been working with them on-and-off for over a year to try and get this remedied and they have remained inert.

At this point, the one solution they have suggested is that we get the controller replaced. They will get us a small discount on the controller but we still have to pay for it as well as the electrician. This clearly is not a fair solution.

They have also admitted also that they have had issues with that controller and so now use an entirely different brand. This seems to only strengthen our claim they should rectify the job without any additional fees.

This controller issue is large as it prevents us from actually using the airconditioner at times. As such, despite some excellent service early on, it just becomes hard to look past.

Got a Daikin unit installed recently. They were happy for me to book 3 months in advance before I moved into a place which was fantastic.

Price was the best of a number of quotes and their rep was polite, knowledgeable and responded quickly to changes in design.

Had a small issue where an activation code wasn’t sent to me (probably ended up in spam) but an SMS at 7 in the morning asking for help was answered almost immediately and the issue resolved in about 20 mins.

That’s good service!

A big shout out to Crispair ...... I made an appointment with Rebecca and asked her to get the Technician to call me when he was 15 mins away so I could leave work and meet him at my home. Matthew the Technician did in fact call me and we arrived within minutes of each other. He was very polite along with his junior off sider and did an absolutely amazing job. He did a diagnostic test on my Reverse Cycle Ducted Daikin, general service and clean of filters. My keypad had died to which he replaced as he had a new one in his ute and my return grill had broken lugs to which he also fixed and put back in place for me. I did obviously ring around and get quotes from other companies to look at and fix my Daikin and the quotes were absolutely ridiculous! Crispair not only charged me a fair price but the service Matthew provided was beyond great! I will definitely not only be using them again for future servicing but will let everyone know if they ever need their aircons servicing call Crispair FIRST!!

We got 3 quotes to retrofit a new 14kw Daikin ducted reverse cycle replacement air conditioner and Crisp Air was the best quote by far. The manager Dee started off the quote and calling us direct . From then on it just flowed so smoothly. Michael Claydon and his team looked after us after that and it was a top job. We even got My Air upgrade and got the free instruction session after installation and we took advantage of the March special for the 4 temperature sensors for 4 rooms in the package.
