FOR NEW PERTH HOMES BUILT WITHOUT DUCTED
The ducted you cut from the build to make the loan work.
Put it back in for $7.42 a day. The cost of a large coffee.
A Hisense reverse-cycle ducted system heats as well as it cools. $13,499 supplied and installed for a standard four-bedroom Perth home. Sixty months at zero interest, Hisense paying it through Better Air. CrispAir installs it, as we have in Perth since 1986.

The house is finished. Mostly.
The original spec had ducted in it. Then the borrowing capacity didn't quite stretch, the builder offered to take it out to make the numbers work, and you said yes because you wanted the house. You moved in over autumn. Told yourself you'd add it later. Then the first proper Perth summer turned up.
The bedrooms hit thirty by 3pm. The open-plan living that looked so good on the floorplan turns into a hot box from about 2pm onwards. You bought a pedestal fan, and it moved warm air from one side of the room to the other.
The builder would call it finished. You know it isn't. You've known it since the day the aircon came off the spec.

$7.42
PER DAY · 60 MONTHS · 0% INTEREST
Indicative pricing for the standard spec below. Your actual number depends on your home's footprint, roof access, and the Better Air term you qualify for. Confirmed in writing on the day we visit.
The exact home this price covers
We price the $13,499 offer for one home type, because it's the most common new-build layout in Perth at the moment. If your home looks like this, the answer is $13,499. If it doesn't, we tell you on the first call.
Non-truss
Roof, good access
Honest disclosure. If your home is two-storey, has a truss roof, sits on a tight lot with restricted access, or is bigger than four bedrooms plus a study, $13,499 won't cover it. The trade is full of operators who quote $13,499 on a flyer and then find $4,000 of "extras" once they've got the deposit. We'd rather tell you on the phone. Send through your address and we'll give you the real number before we book a visit.
How this goes once you fill in the form
1
Free in-home assessment
Someone from CrispAir comes to the house, takes measurements properly, and confirms whether your home fits the $13,499 spec or what the real number is for it. We don't quote over the phone, because the phone doesn't tell us what your ceiling cavity will accept.
2
Apply when the design is right
Better Air's application takes about 10 minutes if you verify income through online bank statements, or 20 to 30 minutes if you'd rather upload payslips. Decision the same day. If you'd rather know the answer privately before any home visit, do this step first.
3
Install on a date you actually wanted
One or two days on site for most new homes. Day one is roof work, ducting and outlets. Day two, where needed, is electrical, controller and zone testing. We hand the system over working, with the paperwork to register the Hisense 7-year warranty, and we take the packaging with us when we leave.
Two ways to start, both unhurried
Want to know the maths works for your household before anyone visits the house? Ask Better Air for a pre-approval. Ten minutes online. Once you're approved, you know the monthly payment you'd be working with before anyone says a word about systems, ducting, or zones.
Already know you can afford it? Skip the maths and book the assessment. Someone from CrispAir will come around, measure up, and confirm the $13,499 number for your home.
Both are free. Neither commits you to anything.

What our customers say
★★★★★
"From the moment I called and dealt with Sam P I knew I was in good hands. Guided me through the options that were available to us to improve what we currently had. The whole interaction was seamless from that first call to the installation. We love our new air conditioners, not only are they stylish but so quiet."

"We have had our fully ducted system in for just over a year now with no issues whatsoever. We replaced our old Evaporative System which had a habit of dying every Christmas three years running. Since our new Daikin system was installed just before Christmas 2024 we have been enjoying the greatest comfort, even on the hottest days. Today was our first service and the Technican (Matt) was great. He provided some advice on how to better balance the vents, did a thorough job with the service, was prompt and very courteous. Every aspect of our experience with CrispAir, from the initial inquiries through to today's service and checkup has been first class. Best decision we ever made."

★★★★★
"Cannot recommend this company enough. From the quote to the installation of my reverse cycle ducted air conditioning, their service was exceptional. Communication and efficiency met all expectations as a customer. The whole installation team was clean, tidy, on time and respectful of the space they were working in. A special mention to Chris the refrigeration engineer for his knowledge and outstanding service and Luke for organising this installation and going above and beyond for me to get this installed quickly in the middle of summer. If I could give more starts I would."

Why ducted, when you have a minute to think about it
One decision, made once
The version of the house with four or five wall splits hanging off the brickwork is four or five small decisions made in four or five different summers, each in a hurry. Ducted is one decision, made calmly in a finished house, with one controller doing the lot.
Quieter at the source
The compressor lives outside. The indoor unit sits in the ceiling cavity. Nothing humming on the bedroom wall at 2am, which matters more in year three than in week one.
Zoning stops you paying to condition empty rooms
Cool the bedrooms at night and leave the lounge off. Warm the bathroom and kitchen on Sunday morning and leave the rest alone. The system runs the rooms you're in, not the ones the cat is sleeping in.
It stays with the house
A wall split gets argued over with the buyer at sale. Ducted is built into the ceiling, sized to the floorplan, and registered to the property. It shows up in the asking price the day you list.

The questions every new-home owner asks
Is the $13,499 really fixed, or will extras appear during install?
It's fixed in writing for the spec on this page: single-storey, four bedrooms plus study or theatre, open-plan living, ten outlets across eight zones, single-phase power, good roof space (non-truss). If your home doesn't fit that spec we tell you on the first call. There are no "while we're here" surprises mid-install.
Will installing now affect my builder's warranty?
No. The builder's structural warranty covers what they built. We're a separately licensed trade, our install carries its own 5-year workmanship warranty, and nothing your builder gave you gets voided by us being in the ceiling.
How does the 0% interest finance actually work?
It's Better Air finance, run in partnership with Humm90. Hisense pays the interest in your place. Five years, 60 monthly direct debits of $224.98. The total you pay is the system price. Standard credit check applies. If you want to know you're approved for finance before we do a site visit, we can send you the Humm90 application link. Ten minutes online and you'll have your answer.
What if my home isn't a standard 4-bedroom single-storey?
Then $13,499 isn't your number, and we tell you that on the first call rather than after you've paid a deposit. Two-storey homes, truss roofs, footprints noticeably bigger or smaller than the standard spec, and homes with tight access all need a separate quote. Same offer (60 months 0% through Better Air), different total.
What's the warranty on the system?
Seven years on the registered Hisense system, plus a 5-year workmanship warranty from CrispAir on the install itself. Most other brands give you five on both. We register the Hisense with you on the day.
How long does the install actually take?
Most standard new homes are a one-day install where everything's accessible. Two days where roof space is tighter or zones are awkward to route. Day one is roof work, ducting and ceiling outlets. Day two, where needed, is electrical, controller setup, and testing every zone before we hand it over. We don't leave until each outlet is tested.
Can you install before our furniture arrives?
Yes, and it's the easier install for both sides. Empty rooms, clean roof space, no lounges to relocate, no carpet to protect. Tell us your handover date and we'll get the install in before settle-in if we can fit it.
Will the Better Air application affect my credit score?
A finance application usually leaves a credit enquiry on your file. Better Air's pre-approval and full application processes are described on their site. Confirm the exact treatment with the Better Air team before applying if it's a concern.
